Grant full file system access to an application
macOS 13 (Ventura) and later
- Open System Settings.
- Click on Privacy & security in the left pane.
- Click on Full disk access in the right pane.
- Click on +, and then enter the credentials of a macOS user account that has administrative privileges.
- Choose the application to which you wish to grant full disk access.
macOS 12 (Monterey) and earlier
- Open System Preferences.
- Click on Security & privacy.
- Click on Privacy.
- Select Full disk access in the list situated on the left.
- Click on the padlock button, and then enter the credentials of a macOS user account that has administrative privileges.
- Click on +.
- Choose the application to which you wish to grant full disk access.
